OUR AICE

STORY

Piper High School's Cambridge (AICE) program started in the 2019-2020 school year. Ever since, the program has grown to be one of Broward County's largest, and most successful, AICE programs. Under the leadership of Principal Marie Hautigan and Assistant Principal Patrick Kothe, the program has worked to allow any student capable of earning an AICE Diploma to have the best chance to do so.

PIPER HIGH SCHOOL

ADMINISTRATION

WHAT IS

AICE?

AICE is a college-level curriculum offered at the high school level. In the program, students are capable of earning college credits that can be used at any Florida college or university and many others nationwide. AICE offers a special diploma (outside of the traditional high school diploma), that illustrates mastery over the curriculum. This AICE Diploma also offers lucrative scholarship opportunities in the state of Florida.

WHAT IS THE

AICE DIPLOMA?

The AICE Diploma is the most coveted and valued feature of the AICE program because of its assistance in helping students earn scholarship money in the state of Florida. Specifically, students can earn the 100% Bright Futures scholarship without needing to earn the qualifying SAT score.

To earn the AICE Diploma, students must pass seven (7) AICE exams across different categories of the curriculum. They have 25 months from the first administration (3 school years) to do this.
