In the simplest of terms, the AICE program is where you get placed in advanced, college-level, classes to pass the final exam and get the AICE diploma. The AICE program is here to challenge you and also help provide a way to get free money for college. And being a current AICE student myself, I will not lie to you, you will surely be put to the test. There will be a lot of classwork. It can be frustrating; you will maybe ask yourself why I would say this and it’s because it is the truth. The AICE program will challenge you and there will be very tough days. WAIT!!! I don’t want this to scare you away.

"...being a current AICE student myself, I will not lie to you, you will surely be put to the test."

I will not lie this program will be a lot of work and it can be exhausting at times, but the teachers only do this to prepare you to pass the final exam. At Piper they will make sure you are up to date with work, because they don’t want to possibly fine you for not doing a requirement to pass the class.

The AICE teachers here actually care about you as students and are willing to help you whenever you need. The teachers know that AICE classes can be tiring and are a lot of work. And even if you don’t like some of your AICE teachers, they all want to see your name next to a passing grade. As well as seeing you graduate with a way to pay for college. The AICE program to me seems like a cushion after all the hard work you have put in, you can easily pay for college and take off one of the most difficult things you can go through as a student, which is student loans.

"The AICE teachers here actually care about you as students and are willing to help you whenever you need. "

I am glad that I was placed in the AICE program here at Piper. The classes shape you into a better student and give you new perspectives on different matters in everyday life. At Piper, the teachers care for you and are always open to help you. And all the faculty and staff want to see you succeed especially your biggest cheerleader of all, our principal Ms. Hautigan. There is no one who cares like her, and she makes sure that she gives us all the best opportunities to succeed as she can whether you are even in the AICE program or not. All I’m saying is you should take your chances with Piper next year; you won’t regret it.
